Pulsing

What is Pulsing ?
Our bodies are a complex mass of over lapping systems which work away entirely without our conscious awareness.

Each system has it’s own pulse or rhythm. We are familiar with the heartbeat, the pulse in our wrist, and our breathing, but there are other rhythms. For example - in the intestines, in the muscles and in the fluid which cushions the brain and spinal cord, which ideally all work in harmony.

When we are physically or emotionally stressed our rhythms go ‘out of sync’, pulsing can restore the natural synchronization of the bodies rhythms.

Pulsing is a gentle form of bodywork combining continuous rhythmic rocking with stretching, lifting and rotating to reconnect us with the internal rhythm of the breath, the heartbeat, the digestive system and movements of the spinal fluid.

The background rhythm becomes an invitation for the mind and body to relax and encourage a sense of ease and flow. Gently, as we let go of pain and tension we begin to reconnect with our inner source of nourishment and joy.

Pulsing is particularly beneficial for the release of muscular and emotional tension, easing stiff joints and increasing flexibility.

It can harmonise the circulatory system and reconnect with the natural body rhythms, promoting deeper easier breathing, simultaneously relaxes and energises and stimulates self healing and a centred self awareness.
